Getting Started

How do I create a Buzz Maids Account?

Go to the top right hand side of the screen and you will see the Login button. Please click on this and you will be directed to another website where it will ask for your login details. Below these two boxes is a link to ‘sign up now’. Please click on this link and you wil be asked to put down your email and then you should create a memorable password for future login.

Do you service my area?

We service the whole of Berkshire.

What is included in a standard clean?

In all areas of the home:

 

  • empty the bins
  • vacuum and mop all the floors
  • dust all the surfaces

 

In the kitchen:

 

  • wipe the fridge (outside)
  • clean the counter tops
  • wipe all appliances
  • clean the sink
  • clean the stove
  • wash and dry any dishes
  • wipe down dishwasher, washing machine, kettle and toaster
  • clean hob
  • wipe bin

 

In the bathrooms:

 

  • clean counter tops
  • scrub toilets (inside and out)
  • wipe bathroom cabinets (outside)
  • clean sinks
  • rinse and wipe bath tubs
  • clean window ledges

 

In the bedrooms:

 

  • quick de-clutter of the floors
  • make beds (request new linen)
  • wipe table tops

 

How much will it cost?

If you go to the booking form, enter the amount of bedrooms and bathrooms your house has, add any extras and you’ll get an immediate quote.

Do you bring your own cleaning supplies, products and equipment?

Yes, all our cleaners bring their own supplies, products and equipment.

Can I request special tasks or extras?

Yes. If you haven’t made a booking yet, go to booking form and add the extras. If you want to add an extra to an already booked clean, send us an email and we’ll process that for you.

What is included in a deep clean?

If you would like an end of tenancy clean, you should call, live chat or email us to receive a rough quote.

An end of tenancy clean is recommended for those who are moving in or moving out of their property. Here is what is included:

Manage Your Account

How do I log into my account?

Click the “Login” link on the top bar, and enter your details.

How do I change my password?

If you click Login in the top right hand-side of your screen it will take you to another website. Click “Forgot your password” and then follow the instructions for resetting your password.

How do I change my address?

Login to your account using the login section of the website. Hover over your email address and click the “My account” link. Then update your address. Otherwise just email us and we’ll just change it.

How do I change my credit card?

Login to your account using the login section of the website. Hover over your email address and click the “Billing info” link. Then update your details. If you email us we can also always do it for you.

How do I book my first appointment?

Go to the booking page and follow the instructions.

Pricing & Policies

Can I apply a coupon to an existing appointment?

You can apply a coupon to an existing appointment by logging into your account and clicking your name in the top right hand corner. You can then select “redeem voucher” and enter your code. The system will automatically apply the code to your next appointment. You can not apply your coupon to past appointment that has been already completed.

Why are vouchers for first time customer only?

Vouchers are a way of bringing new customers who want efficient cleaning to our website, so that they can experience the professional and quality service that Buzz Maids so proudly offers.

I bought a voucher and Buzz Maids does not cover my area, what should I do?

Send us an email, and we will refund you the whole price, no questions asked.

Why do you need my credit card information to redeem a voucher?

When you redeem a voucher for a Buzz Maids clean, your credit card details are required for our system so that if you book a Buzz Maids clean in the future you do not have to perform the laborious task of typing in your credit card details into our website. Your details are also required to keep your Buzz Maids clean operating so that it is not cancelled.

Trust & Safety

Can I trust my cleaning professional?

Yes. All our cleaners have undergone background checks and have had face-to-face interviews. We only pick the most experienced and best cleaners around. Both us and the cleaners themselves are fully insured.

What happens if something goes wrong during my appointment?

The Buzz Maid cleaners are insured up to £1,000,000 so we can assure you if there is a problem (this has never been an issue) then we will come back an re-clean for free, and if more needs to be done we will handle it with your help and input.

Is my billing information kept safe and secure?

Yes it is, our payment technology is provided by Stripe. Their SSL encrypted, PCL compliant system is completely secure and trusted by companies worldwide. You can read more about them on stripe.com.

Do the cleaning professionals go through a background check?

Yes, all of our cleaners are DBS checked.

What is your 100% Cleaning guarantee policy?

At Buzz Maids we guarantee that you will be delighted by the results of your clean. If for some reason you are not just let us know within 3 days and we promise to send a cleaner back to put it right for free. You are not charged until after the clean so there is no risk when you book a clean.

What is your refund policy?

When you enter your card details in our booking form the money is not taken out of your account a reservation is simply put on it so we can secure the money after the clean. If you are not content with your clean after we charge you then let us know within 3 days and we promise to send a cleaner back to put it right for free.
