Why isn’t a move-out cleaning identical to a regular cleaning?
A move-out cleaning isn’t identical to a regular cleaning for a very important reason: they have distinct purposes! With a move-out cleaning, we aim to leave the property spotless, whereas, with a regular cleaning, we only want to maintain it in a presentable state. Also, only the move-out cleaning comes with a checklist and a guarantee. The regular cleaning (for which we charge hourly) isn’t accompanied by them.
Will my belongings inside the property interfere with your cleaning?
Unfortunately, yes. If you leave your things inside, we will clean more slowly and less efficiently, and you will have to pay an extra £50-90. Improve our efficiency and speed and keep your budget under control by simply clearing your items from the rental before we arrive.
How long is your cleaning process?
It depends on the size of your rental and how dirty it is. The rule of thumb is clear: the larger and dirtier your rental is, the longer the cleaning process will be. Rest assured, though, that we go above and beyond to clean as quickly as possible, but our focus will remain on results rather than time.
Do you have the tools and skills to clean exterior surfaces (patios, balconies, etc.)?
Yes, we do. We will clean exterior areas if they are part of your tenancy. However, it will increase the cost of our services because we need to use specialized tools and supplies. Please inform us about cleaning exterior areas when you’re booking our services.
What do you do if you discover pest infestation while cleaning?
If we find a pest infestation while cleaning, we will inform you right away. We will document it and present you with the consequences for your deposit refund. Keep in mind that, for an extra charge, we also perform fumigation services to eradicate pests, insects, and other unwanted critters.
Are your cleaning products safe?
Yes, all our cleaning products are COSHH-certified. They are safe to use around children, people with allergies, and pets. Should you have any specific product requests, rest assured that we will accommodate them.
